You Don’t Look Blind
The You Don’t Look Blind community is open to anyone who needs us. Whether you have just received a diagnosis, or you’ve been on this path for decades. It includes all of those affected by vision loss, regardless of the diagnosis, progression, or severity. We include spouses, friends, and family because they’re affected as well. The goal of our community is, most importantly, to share our empathy with others who “get it.” We also share resources, information, encouragement, laughter, and tears. We help each other to know that we’re not alone on this ever-changing journey. We come together as a community to help each other realize that blindness doesn’t define us and the only limitations we have are the ones we place upon ourselves.
