VisionServe Alliance strengthens the field through enhanced management systems, innovation, and shared industry best practices, helps member organizations increase capacity-building and sustainability, informs public policy impacting millions with blindness and low vision, develops robust data reports that elucidate the critical issues facing these individuals and highlight the urgent need for increased funding, maximizes awareness of the availability of life-changing Vision Rehabilitation training and services benefiting people with blindness and low vision, increases access to these vital services, and provides national education, resources, and tools benefiting professionals in the vision loss field and people facing the challenge of blindness and low vision. We offer unique networking opportunities, including annual executive leadership conferences, affinity groups, webinars, and more. The Aging and Vision Loss National Coalition (AVLNC)
AVLNC is a consortium of 160+ organizations and leaders of national, state, local, private, and public agencies who advocate for increased access and enhanced quality of life for older Americans with blindness and low vision. AVLNC empowers older adults to age in place, primarily through vision rehabilitation services and life-changing training. We advance a broad range of strategic initiatives through four AVLNC committees: Access to Quality Services, Data and Research Committee, Policy And Funding Committee, and Public Awareness Committee.
