VISIONS mission is to help our participants “see what is possible” and we have been making this mission a reality for the past 98 years. We offer services in vision rehabilitation training, orientation and mobility training, social work services, employment readiness, and youth services. Our team works diligently to serve people who are blind or have low vision in all five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, Westchester, and the lower Hudson Valley. Our two locations – VISIONS Older Adult Center in Manhattan and VISIONS Center on Blindness in Rockland County, NY- offer in person experiences for people who are blind and their loved ones. From apple picking upstate to museum tours in Manhattan, we have something for everyone. Our rehabilitation staff also offer in home services to meet the needs of any participant.
